The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1 are open to the public for short periods of time throughout the year, generally closed most of the year, so if you are in London when the Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace are open to the public - Go see some of the Queen's most recognisable horse drawn vehicles. The Gold State Coach being the most recognisable and used during the Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002. Other vehicles used for coronations, state visits, Royal weddings and opening of Parliament are housed here.

The stables in the Royal Mews house the only breed of British carriage horse, the Cleveland Bay's.
